Customer Reviews:* This alpha beta peel and the Retin-A cream I use at night are the two skin care items I would not do without. I've been using it since 2009 when my sister-in-law, who had been using it for a while, let me try it. I saw results immediately. My skin was smoother and had more of a glow. Although the label says you might have a reaction at first, I didn't. It's like anything you use when you start to clean out your skin--sometimes it has to get worse before it can get better (similar to Retin-A). This is expensive stuff, but it works, unlike other products that claim to. Because of these products, I can save on moisturizers, etc. I am ALWAYS getting complimented on my skin, and I'm in my late 50's! That never used to happen. I'm one of those adult-acne-prone people, and I'm not anymore since I started using the alpha beta peel. Recently I got a sample of the extra-strength version of this. I tried it without any problems, so I may start using it (it's even more expensive :(). I never leave home without their travel packets; they're great. I also wash with Dr. Dennis Gross' All-in-One Facial Cleanser with Toner. This cleanser removes all makeup, including mascara (not sure about waterproof mascara, though) and never leaves my skin feeling tight. Plus I don't have to buy and use toner--another step and cost. I also love their serums, but I use other brands, too (Boots No. 7, Origins). Their tinted moisturizer is great--really disappears on my skin, but I need to add additional moisturizer, especially in the winter. * I've had a laser treatment done on my face in November 2010, to treat dark spots and fine wrinkles. Unfortunately it only served to give me hyper-pigmentation all over my cheeks and forehead! I've struggled to find a product to help me get rid of it, even the dreaded hydroquinone product my doctor prescribed. It helped a little, but I found out after using it that it can cause cancer. I was so depressed over my appearance! While searching for products on line, and after spending so much money on useless products, I've discovered Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel. FINALLY, a product that works!! Within a week, my face had started to peel, and by the time I finished the full 30 day treatment, I was astounded at how different my skin appeared!My friends also noticed the difference in the pigmentation spots on my face--they say that they have to look closely to notice them! To top that off, my skin glows! I've actually had comments about how youthful I look, how radiant and vibrant I am! Even the fine wrinkles under my eyes are less noticeable! I feel so much better now and it shows by the big smile I carry every where I go!I could have saved the $1500 I spent on the laser treatment! :o(This product is DEFINITELY a keeper for me!
