Customer Reviews:* To start off, I researched air mattresses for a good 4 - 5 weeks before I purchased this air mattress. I researched many different brands, very popular brands that had hundreds of reviews on amazon. But most of them were mixed reviews, nothing overwhelmingly positive to make me want to purchase. And then I stumbled upon the SimplySleeper brand, and couldn't find a bad review anywhere. I decided to purchase this air bed after all my research and here's why.First off the air mattress comes with a one year warranty. This played a major role in my purchase as I have three pets and wanted to make sure that if my animals popped it a month after I got it, I could get a replacement (once I got the bed I realized the material was thick enough that my pets couldn't puncture it).Second, the air mattress material is far superior to any other air mattress I have ever used. It seems thick and durable, and didn't have a strong plastic odor (it did have a slight plastic smell, but it was gone after the first day of having it blown up). The stronger material seems to prevent excessive stretching of the air bed. It stretched a little the first night, we added a bit more air, and haven't had to add anymore in the past week. The flocked surface makes the sheets fit snugly and stay in place (we use regular queen sheets). The oval coils in the bed make it the most comfortable sleep I've ever had on an air mattress. My husband and I fit comfortably on this bed (about 350 pounds total), and we never end up sunk in the middle of the bed. The bed is very firm, and very comfortable. Firm enough so that you can sit near the edge of the bed and not sink down or fall off. Also, the sure grip bottom on the bed really does help to keep the bed in place. The surface of the bed (microfiber) is soft to the touch, and seems to make a difference in keeping whoever sleeps on the bed warmer at night.Lastly, the pump works as advertised. It takes about two minutes to inflate and deflate the bed, and the pump is very quiet. My husband and I were able to have a conversation with the pump running, and didn't have to raise our voices. The cord is long, and fits nicely into its compartment. It is very easy to fit the mattress back into its storage bag once deflated, and its not too heavy.I would recommend this bed to anyone who wants a quality air mattress that is going to last. Its thoughtful features and supreme construction make this mattress a great choice. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. This bed will be used as a temporary bed for a stretch of about two months, I will update after those two months to note how the air bed held up. Don't hesitate to buy, this is a wonderful product! * It kills me to have to return this bed, because right out of the box I loved it. The bed is as advertised in every way, just as the product description said. This bed is obviously high quality and no plastic smell. All I did was throw it on the bed platform in my 5th wheel trailer, unfold the edges, plug it in the wall and turn on the pump. It was fully inflated to the firmness level I wanted inside 2 minutes. The AC pump works perfectly.The flock top is great and will hold sheets firmly. When I tried it out, it felt more like the Sleep Number bed I had before I sold the house than any air bed I've ever slept on. This is definitely NOT your average camp or weekend bed for kids or relatives, yet the price is more in that league and I couldn't believe the deal. It fits right in as a nice bedroom full time mattress. That's why I bought it. I have the back from hell and need good quality and support. Reviews on other air beds are most often mixed: This guy says it's great, and that guy says it leaks like a sieve. It's hard to select one with all that going on, ain't it?The ONLY problem is I didn't realize the inflated height would be too high for the space meant for it. Needing new sheets to fit it notwithstanding, the height of the thing, plus pillows on top, leaves almost no headroom in the trailer slide out alcove. My noggen would have more knots in it than a Navy rope getting up in the middle of the night, and that's without factoring in having quaffed a 12-pack first. In a regular bedroom this would not be an issue at all. Frankly, I'm pissed I can't keep the bed! I plan to look for a single height mattress by the same manufacturer because these beds are the bomb in terms of quality if this one is any indication.The only reason this mattress won't work for me is entirely due to my unique situation. Take it from me. If you don't plan to put it in an RV with a slide out, BUY IT!!
