I mention this to save you time and energy doing the research yourself. Also, women who were very 'brand loyal' to other brands for years, dropped 'em for this shoe once they used it.This shoe is designed to move the energy created during movement so it transitions in a wave flow rather than a jarring impact to our bodies when walking, running and during activities.It is the top of the line of their wave shoe and worth every penny if you can benefit from the added ease this shoe provides ~ I say, "Go for It!"I have injuries and can say this shoe has made a difference in the ease with which I walk and is therapeutic. I also have, 'flat feet' and these really work for me.I am in a size 7 street shoe, and wear the 7 1/2 B in this shoe without the padded insert that came with this shoe. It fits like a glove! * Just received the prophecy 2 in the mail. I am getting ready to go 5 miles. Just putting the shoe on it feels like the 2 runs bigger than the older version. I think I could have easily been great with a 91/2 instead of 10. 91/2 is my usual size. The material is also different from the originals. The mesh does not seem as breathable. The support seems to have improved while the over all fit like a glove factor has diminished( Maybe due to size). I love the colors! I am going to try them out and I will post after my run. One thing I love about these shoes is that I only have to replace my running shoes about every 8 1/2 months and I run everyday! I just replaced my old Prophecy's with these and I purchased those last year July.AFTER THE FIRST RUN....Hands down best running shoe on the market!So I did not go the entire 5 miles due to rain. My feet stayed dry the entire trip. I ran 4 miles. I have to say that I am super pleased with this shoe! I still think I should have gotten a smaller size. I also noticed that this shoe seems to be a little bit more flexible. I do wish there was a tad bit more cushioning. The reason that I love this shoe still remains the same..it makes me want to run! The wave plates are awesome! Every serious runner should give this shoe a try! FYI I purchased my prophecy from somewhere else which is why my purchase is not verified here. Happy Running!
