I travel a lot and they work great! When I reach my destination, I don't have to unpack. I just slip the cube/folder into the draw. My husband rebelled against them at first but now he loves them too. * Look at the specs and compare it to the luggage you'll be using. If you are thinking about tshirts, it will fit 6 rolled shirts. Being double pockets, you could probably squeeze in a few pairs of shorts in the bottom compartment. It is built so that you can use most of the space using one of the zippers for a mesh/waterproof differentiation while traveling.Using a packing solution is not completely necessary when traveling alone, if anything it will just force you to pack as efficiently as possible, which can be stuffed without buying a Pack-it cube.Very useful to distinguish from the rest of your luggage. I bought this and two of the tubes. This way, I know that one of the tubes has my clean socks, and the other has my clean underwear. The Cube holds my tshirts and swim wear...maybe scarves when the weather gets colder, but in this way, you know when you reach for something, rather than throwing everything everywhere, or having to unpack EVERYTHING when you get into a hotel room.What I see this as a useful tool is when you are traveling with family, and are checking in at least one large bag. You can have your things in separate pack it cubes for when you reach your destination.
