Monster Diamond Tears Edge On-Ear Headphones (Crystal)
Customer Reviews:* These headphones immediately catch anybody's attention when wearing these in public. I initially thought the company would forget about sound quality but they didn't. The headphones are very sturdy and have very detailed sound. The company really did great when it gave me 3 cords, 2 with inline remotes (1 for android, 1 for ios devices), and 1 without the inline remote.ϟDESIGNϟImmediately caught my eye when I saw these. They are very sturdy and fold easily to fit in the provided soft carrying case. These headphones also come with a spray bottle and cleaning cloth to buff your headphones and make sure they are extremely shiny. These are also fairly comfortable, but they fit very snug which i'm not a fan of.ϟSOUNDϟThese headphones have very detailed sound and bass isn't lacking either. The headphones for the most part do a good job of keeping sound out which was a plus. What I like:✓ Sturdy build✓ Decent Bass✓ Detailed Sound✓ Design✓ Ios/Android Inline RemoteWhat I don't like:✗ Pricey✗ If you have larger ears these headphones are more uncomfortableϟOVERALLϟ4/5, no doubt that there are superb headphones, but they are more geared towards the design oriented and not necessarily audiophiles. * So these are actually my first pair of on-ear headphones, all the ones I've owned in the past being the apple earbuds or Beats earbuds. My long-suffering pair of Heartbeats broke a couple of months ago and after trying a pair of these in a store, I was instantly sold, more for their sound than their looks but let me be clear, these look like no other headphone out there. The sound on these is incredible and well balanced. Most headphones I've owned have either the problem of not enough bass or too much thumpy, exaggerated bass. Not so with these- there's plenty of clean, thick bass but not to the point of "thudding" and overpowering the treble and the mids. It fits well, especially for pop or music with neutral levels. For metal music, the balance might be a downside for some, but this doesn't bother me any because I doubt hardcore metal heads would be into a headphone looking like this.Which brings me to the style: nothing prepared me for actually wearing these. I live on a smaller Western American college campus and as far as I've seen, I'm the only one with a pair and they're quite an attention getter. If the sunlight catches the diamond studs on the earpieces at just the right angle, your head becomes a shimmering prism disco ball.... You should be prepared for plenty of looks and compliments and envious glares if you wear these in public. Maybe a girl could pull the look off better, but I'm a guy rocking pinkish crystal headphones and I love it.If there's a downside to these headphones it would be the comfort. The earpieces are soft but for my large ears, they get a bit uncomfortable after a while because of the tight fit and the stiff headband- after a few days of wearing and stretching them it got better. Also, these are heavier than you might think and you'll feel the weight on top of your head or around your neck. But the silicone headband makes up for this because it literally sticks to your hair and the headphones won't slide off once they're in place. So definitely pick up a pair of these if you're after great sound and glittery fabulosity in one cool package.9/10
