Pelican 1650 Case with Foam for Camera (Black)

camera casesCustomer Reviews:* This is a great box! I purchased it (1650 with pick and pluck foam) to protect my Epson 3020 projector when we take it places. This box is big, but the perfect size for the projector, remote, cables and 7 pairs of 3D glasses.Customizing the foam had me a little concerned but laying out the design and playing with a few options before "plucking" resulted in a great fit for everything. The main foam is split into 2 layers so you have a lot of control over the depth of the holes for the various items. The foam pieces can be replaced but it's $150 just for the foam in this box, so plan before making any cuts. You can glue back in any foam that you want to replace, so hang onto your removed foam incase you change gear or decide to rearrange the contents. Check the web for tips on foam removal and replacement if you're unsure. The shell of the box itself is very strong and the handles and lock tabs are quite sturdy. We use these cases at work to transport gear for road shows and events and they have survived well. * I use this case to carry the guts of my photo booth. Not only does it have the space to transport my delicate electronics it is the toughest, most rugged case you can buy. The rollers are heavy duty and have no issues on loose gravel and the case is water tight for keeping my stuff safe in the rain.My setup includes a 24 inch monitor/computer system, two studio strobes, one Nikon camera with lens attached, all of the power bricks, cables, and wireless keyboard and mouse. camera cases
