Customer Reviews:* Those of us of a certain age recall the lovely Olga nightgowns with the stretch lace bodice that gave "the girls" some flattering support. They were beautiful gowns, very flattering, and now they can sell for a few hundred dollars on eBay and such. And those are gently used, by and large. I was seeking something similar and was delighted to find this Shadowline set on Amazon. You can buy the peignoir and gown separately from a different vendor if you wish. My set arrived today and I couldn't be happier. The lace was a bit stiff from the sizing but after a wash in the machine and a gentle tumble dry it is very soft and comfortable. I'm pretty long-waisted and "the girls" are reasonably good sized (if a bit less firm than they once were) and I may end up trimming the lace bodice at the shoulders and shortening the straps, so to speak. It would lift "the girls" up a bit higher and back where they used to be. The gown has a flattering full skirt, and the peignoir has stretch lace inserted all around the waist and there are three small buttons that close the peigoir in front under the bust. To get both pieces for under $100 is truly amazing. I'm looking forward to getting my fellow's reaction when he sees it this weekend. It would be nice to have more colors besides black and ivory, but I'm very happy with the black Highly recommended.* This set is extremely elegant. Very impressive. I'm 5'2", 120 lbs. D cup. I ordered a size small and it fits perfectly. The set covers a little lower than my ankles which I love. The robe is just the right length for my arms as well. It doesn't feel too hot nor too cold either. It feels soft and silky (nylon) and it flows. The embroidery on top is very soft. Doesn't itch which is my usual complaint with a lot of lacy stuff. I checked out the sewing, it looks well made. Made in Mexico.I ordered the ivory and it IS GORGEOUS! I feel like a Greek Goddess.I have to say it is a bit see through. Or sheer. So avoid wearing striped/ pattern panties unless you want them noticed. This is beautiful to wear about with your husband eyeing your curves underneath without looking slutty, it leaves a little mystery to the imagination.Don't wear it around the kids or when there's visitors cause they'll be noticing your panties. haha. If there is a robe that is the same style but opaque fabric, I'll definitely get it so I can wear this around visitors.This was well worth the money as far as quality, style and fit. I've never owned a gown as beautiful as this one.
