Lewis N. Clark Deluxe Pill Organizer
Customer Reviews:* Each heavyweight plastic zip-lock pack in this Lewis & Clark pill organizer holds up to a month's worth of pills- or more depending on the size. If you're packing huge calcium or glucosamine pills, don't expect zip packs to hold a month's worth. There is also a side pocket where additional ziplock baggies of pills can be placed. Room for paper printed listing of contents, room for individual prescription leaflets or full-page list of prescriptions. For air travel, you can get your doctor or pharmacy to print out prescriptions, and the print-out(s) can be placed into the pocket so that the zip-lock packs have official designation if TSA chooses to make you prove you are carrying legally prescribed drugs. The Lewis & Clark organizer holds many containers worth of pills, resulting in a huge space savings compared to packing 10 or 15 pill bottles. The velcro closure is lightweight and very sturdy - it will not fly open by itself. The entire pill holder can be placed in an inside suit jacket pocket without being a conspicuous bulge-- presuming you have packed it in a reasonable manner and not stuffed it to bursting-full capacity--- ot it can be placed in a carry on where it can be accessed quickly. The manufacturer is available at the 800 number listed in the packaging materials, and if you need additional plastic zip-lock packs you can call to buy them at a reasonable price. This little pack has traveled all over the world with me, and still looks like new. It sheds water and soil, wipes clean easily if something splashes on it, and is very easy to use. * This is a great buy for anyone who travels frequently. You can transfer sizable amounts of any over-the-counter medicines that you occasionally take into this envelope, and then throw the entire thing into your bag when you leave. This saves you from having to stuff too many boxes and bottles of medicine in your carry-on bag.The pill holder has eight small "baggies", each one capable of holding about 30 Tylenol tablets. If you stuff this many pills into every compartment, though, the envelope isn't going to close, as the bags "stack" on top of each other when you return them to their caddies. There is a large compartment on the side that can hold first-aid supplies (I fit a variety of bandages, q-tips, and some small packets of antiseptic ointment.)
