Pelican 1610 Case with Foam for Camera (Black)

pelican casesCustomer Reviews:* I'm fairly new to Pelican cases, having seen them being used in film school, protecting some pretty high-end equipment. I figured if they can take the kind of beating they receive from students, they can handle just about anything. I needed a particularly deep case for my video equipment, so the 1600 would not work. I was a little skeptical about the wheels, but they have proven to be very valuable in gettting my stuff from place to place, and very rugged. The pinchy foam stuff is brilliant: It's easy to design an effective layout for all your gear, the foam keeps everything in place, and it's even fun to work with! This is a case for people who need to haul around expensive and delicate gear. * I purchased this after returning the Ape Hard Case. There is no comparison! This is one solid case. It is not as big as I had expected, but I guess that is relative. If you have a couple thousand dollars worth of equipment, I think this is a wise investment for storage. I was able to store my D800, 14-24mm, 24-70mm, 28-300mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 28-80mm, SB700 flash, and LCD loupe. That's a lot of stuff in one box! Well worth the money. pelican cases
