Pelican 1520 Case with Foam for Camera Black
Customer Reviews:* The case is strong and heavy. But if you have important items that need to be secure this is the case for you.It will be impossible for the airline handlers to ruin it. * I've purchased 3 Pelican 1520 Cases over a several year period to protect my camera/film gear (Canon 7D DSLR, AXH1 & GL2) and have total confidence in them. The are sturdy and I used them to sit on all the time without any worry about damaging the fragile equipment inside. It starts to rain, no worries. Taking it on a plane, piece of cake. Working in the film industry I see Pelicans quite often and have never had a problem with a single one.The one thing that buyers should be aware of is the Foam Insert vs Padded Dividers. The Foam Inserts allow for very customizable padding and work wonderful for items that you're going to take out at the beginning of the day and put back in a the end. If you're planning on constantly taking items in and out of the case on a regular base (like you do on a film set) then the Padded Dividers would likely hold up a bit better in the long run.In any case (haha, pun), you cannot go wrong with purchasing a Pelican. It will hold up to any job and protect your stuff!
