The Go Berkey system removes pathogenic bacteria, cysts and parasites entirely and extracts harmful chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, VOCs, organic solvents, radon 222 and trihalomethanes. Constructed of highly polished AISI 304 stainless steel the Go Berkey Kit comes complete with one Black Berkey Purification Element, one generic Sport Berkey portable water purifier bottle and a vinyl carry case This system has a storage capacity of about 1 quart (.95 liters) and when in use it stands 14" in height with a diameter of 4". The upper chamber nests within the lower chamber for transport and stands only 10" in height. Customer Reviews:* I have had my portable "Go" Berkey for several months now and take it with me everywhere I travel. Hotels in the US, friends houses, foreign destinations - everywhere! In fact, I like it so much, that I then purchased the "Big Berkey" that holds 2.25 gallons. I was so impressed with this, that I then purchased the Colossal "Crown" Berkey that holds 6.5 gallons! My 6 member family is happy with all three and they are an indispensable part of our lives. We emphasize copious water consumption and these the most logical, efficient and cost effective means of accomplishing this.We have missionary friends in primitive areas of India and Africa who have also found the Berkey system to play a critical role in their lives. Everyone is happy with its performance.Regarding those who say it "leaks", I can authoritatively say that the spigot only leaks for those who don't know how to "screw a lid on tight" or don't know how to properly connect a hose onto a faucet. The only "leak" issue that potential purchasers will need to be prepared for, is that it can be overfilled, causing the water to leak out between the upper and lower chambers.Obviously, if the upper chamber is overfilled, it will cause the lower chamber to overfill, resulting in a overflow between the two. This is only a problem for those who are unprepared.Screw on the spigot well and don't overfill, and you won't have any problems.This is truly a professional product, that is NOT just a water filter - it is a very sophisticated water purifier. It does what it is supposed to do and does it very, very well. It is exceptionally well built and performs flawlessly.Don't be misled by those who are misinformed and don't know the basic fundamentals of how to screw on a faucet. Foreign workers all over the world depend on it and you can too! * I have 2 Berkeys and love them!They do the job simply and very well and I wouldn't think of any other water filtration.Like the last reviewer said, they do NOT leak unless improperly assembled or overfilled.With stainless, overfill sometimes happens; just pour some out and wipe it up!Now they have an accessory called "Water Level Sight Glass Spigot" that shows the water level,so no more overfill. Yay!
